Castellane is dominated by its ‘Roc’: a gigantic limestone rock that cannot fail to attract the eye as soon as you arrive. The village, awarded as a ‘cité de caractère’, has preserved and enriched its cultural heritage. Come and admire our three key monuments: the St Victor Church, the clock tower, and the Pentagonale tower (previously surrounded by ramparts).

Wander through the village streets with their colourful facades, which are characteristic of Haute-Provence villages. Then, walk up the Roc path towards the chapel and enjoy the view of the rooftops with the Verdon Valley in the distance.
