The Bouillouses lake and its accesses is a classified natural site.

To limit the impacts of a too significant number of vehicles, the access by the road is regulated the summer, and the access is done by shuttle or chair-lifts.

Chair-lifts at the beginning of Font-Romeu and Formiguères (fares to be consulted on the spot).

Pedestrian accesses marked out in yellow since the car park of Pla de Barres (3h20 walk) and since the St-Martin-d’Envalls chapel (Angoustrine, 2h15 walk).
