You will depart from La Roque-Gageac for a one hour river trip on boats that are modern, safe replicas of traditional 'gabarres'. During the 7 km trip the pilot will tell you about the history and cultural identity of the river, its valley and the people who live there. On the agenda: Prehistory, Middle Ages, the life of the 'gabarriers' ('the men who worked on the boats'), ecosystem and geology.
